My sewing tutorials will start soon!

So my sewing machine has to be fixed, because for some reason, it doesnt work properly.

Tomorrow I will give it to my aunt, she will fix it and hopefully I will be able to start sewing

again! Currently I am looking for Outfits that I want to duplicate. What do you think about this look:

I have always wanted to sew a pink high-waist skirt. I think I will look for a similar bright pink fabric (is that what you say to it? or do you use the word cloth for it? I am german so I dont know how you call the stuff that you sew clothes with πŸ˜€ ) . So this is my first idea. This next look is also really pretty:

A dress with an open back like that? I dont know what you would rather want to see…
Maybe I will do both looks, when I have enough money for both fabrics. πŸ™‚

Or how about this dress? This will be a little more challenging but I think I could do a good duplicat to this dress. Its soooo pretty I love it! Or what about this Outfit:

I adore this combo of the coloures sooo much. Maybe I will decide to do this look first. What so you think?

Your Fashion-Freak that cant decide which look to do first πŸ˜€

This dress is lovely, the lace top is beautiful!

I love the third look …don’t know how easy it would be to sew, but I love it! (Also, the belt in that picture is amazing.)

I think you can use either word (cloth or fabric) when talking about what you sew with, but I tend to use “fabric” more often πŸ™‚

It’s usually “fabric” in English – cloth is a little old-fashioned, like Dicken’s London πŸ™‚
I just moved to Belgium and I’m learning all the words around sewing in French! The word for fabric is “tissue” which was a little confusing!
Happy sewing ! If you find a good pattern for a backless dress I’d like to see how you do it!

Can’t Wait! I am just starting to learn how to sew by myself through books, and it would be nice to have step by step video tutorials too. Thank you and God Bless – Lion2Lamb

The pink skirt! πŸ™‚ You absolutely need to duplicate the pink skirt!

  6. The last two looks are gorgeous- they look incredibly complex to sew! I just received a sewing machine (without an instruction manual) and would like to take the time to sit down and use it. I’ll have to come up with some simpler projects first but would love to see your tutorials on outfits like these.

the pink skirt is GORGEOUS!! I love pencil skirts but that one is so cute.
right now I’m only sewing doll clothes but ultimately I hope to sew clothes for myself and this skirt would most definitively be in my list of skirts to sew.

thanks for following my blog by the way πŸ™‚

My sewing machine has been broken forever, although honestly even when it worked I definitely didn’t set the fashion world on fire with it! If you could show me how to make even one garment on your blog I would be grateful! I’m hopeless.
Right now though I am obsessed with learning embroidery so I can emulate this season’s lambskin embroidered Balmain top.

  14. Hello! Thank you for following me. πŸ˜€
I love that dress with an open back and pink skirt! :O
